My Bio
I started drawing horses at the age of five, and never looked back. Once I explored figure drawing, I really got into traditional media, particularly chalk pencils. Then, 8 years ago, my son got involved with Gaia and wanted me to do some art for him. I was very rusty, having been on a ten year hiatus from my artwork, but I decided to give it a try, drawing mostly things resembling anime. Shortly after that, came the digital drama...learning to use a tablet was a huge challenge, especially with a persnickety tablet! I finally got past all of that, and started watching what some of my favourite artists here were doing, such as Heise. Found great tutorials on digital work, and have been hooked every since. I do still do traditional work as well...;-)

Definitely feels like normal life. Every step I take, I get kicked back two. I keep fighting, thinking it will all get better, but it never does.
I'm exhausted, and no art at all. Since the fire, I've only done the two pieces, and those were so hard. Feels like my soul is bleeding all the time...

just droppin by to say hi... feels like its been years. was lookin at some old art I had up and was like.. " wow, where did the time go?.. i used to take to some of these people like ALL the time! " heh. hope all is well.
It has been a rough year, but I do try to keep up with what everyone is doing even when I'm not doing anything myself. Sure do miss everyone, but should be getting some art done pretty soon. Hope life is treating you well!
