I started drawing horses at the age of five, and never looked back. Once I explored figure drawing, I really got into traditional media, particularly chalk pencils. Then, 8 years ago, my son got involved with Gaia and wanted me to do some art for him. I was very rusty, having been on a ten year hiatus from my artwork, but I decided to give it a try, drawing mostly things resembling anime. Shortly after that, came the digital drama...learning to use a tablet was a huge challenge, especially with a persnickety tablet! I finally got past all of that, and started watching what some of my favourite artists here were doing, such as Heise. Found great tutorials on digital work, and have been hooked every since. I do still do traditional work as well...
